Who Knows the Path of Mastery?

Who knows the Path of Mastery that follows Creativity?
Who stumbles, blinded in the night returning ’morrow to the fight?

Can he who Wisdom’s face has seen be silent in his revelries?
His writings, paintings, musings, songs, can he lend Light to Rights and
Wrongs?

It is the Artist that obeys the yearnings of his heart
No One can hold him captive for his soul, it renders Art
An infinite blend of Man and God, of Nature, Earth and Air
Of Fire, Water, Blood and Sweat, of Tears and graying hair.

And so to those who walk this Path courageously each day
I leave You each to answer now this quest in your own way…

How does Your Creativity become Your Path of Mastery?

Can I Be So Bold to Ask?


God,
Can I be so bold to ask just what I’m doing here?
Why did I come?  What have I done?
Am I still in first gear?

Did You have plans I didn’t get
Or instruction I’ve not seen?

Did you want me to do something
Or give someone a ring?

Or did You whisper in my ear at night when I was sleeping?
Or are my Angels hiding info from me for safe keeping?

Forgive me, God I just don’t know
How I can sit and look at snow
Outside my window every day
In Winter and not even say,
Why did I come?  Am I not done?

So, please God, I’d appreciate an answer, if You please,
I’d like to know why I’m still here just shooting off the breeze.

I’m perfectly willing to entertain a reason for my existence
But it would help immensely if You’d give me Your assistance.
